Confidentiality

As a UKVRN registrant I adhere to the Association for Nutrition Standards of Ethics, Conduct and Performance including maintaining client confidentiality.

My privacy notice provides you with details of how I collect and process your personal data when you contact me with your details as an enquiry or for a consultation.

Complaints Policy

I’m committed to providing a high-quality nutrition and horsecare consultancy and educational service to all my clients and subscribers. When something goes wrong, I need you to tell me about it so I can help, and so that I  can improve our service. If you have a complaint, please contact me, Clare, in writing, to  clare@equinenutritionist.co.uk with all the details. I will then deal with your problem fairly, confidentially and effectively. I  will acknowledge your problem within 5 working days of receiving it in writing, and provide a likely timescale for resolution, which I will try to do in 6 weeks. I will fully investigate your comments and keep you informed.

If you are not satisfied with the outcome of my investigation of your complaint, you can contact the Association for Nutrition quoting my registration number, 722. Please contact them within a month of receiving our final letter. The address for the Association for Nutrition is 28 Portland Place, London, W1B 1LY.

Correct nutrition is just one part of good horse care; optimal health and performance also depend on good management, appropriate physical and behavioural training, and relevant veterinary, dental and foot care. Therefore I cannot be held responsible for the performance of a specific feeding regime, as many factors outside my control will affect your horse’s performance. Clients administer suggested products (feeds/supplements/additives) with the understanding that any adverse reaction is the responsibility of the owner.
